Do you charge for travel or lodging?
There is a mileage add-on for any event outside a 25-mile radius of Hudson, Wisconsin. Any event outside a 50-mile radius, I require lodging. You can book a hotel room for me as part of your block, or simply add a lodging stipend to your package. A 50+ mile drive at 1:00am gets harder every year!
Have you worked at our venue before?
It's very likely I have performed at your venue at least once, if not many times. I have performed at over 250 venues over a 10 year career. If I have not been to the venue you've chosen, or it's on private property, I am happy to tour the space prior to the event.
How many weddings do you do on a given weekend?
For my wedding DJ and photo booth services, I only provide that to one event per day. For rental drop-off or setup, it depends on the size of the order. All terms and conditions will be laid out in the contract you are sent prior to booking. Contact me for more information specific to your event.
What is your backup plan in case of emergency?
Every piece of gear I need, I bring a backup of it. If you have booked me personally for an event, you can be assured that I will move heaven and earth to be there. I always plan to arrive at least an hour earlier than I need to, in case there is traffic or other delay. If possible, I prefer to set-up the day before or earlier. This helps reduce any day-of worries that there will be any issues. Additionally, I always have someone on call in case of emergency. Not only can this person step in for me if needed, but can also run me anything I may need (once this was a new pair of pants... funny story). I also have connections with a network of trusted wedding professionals in many different markets throughout Wisconsin & Minnesota, who I can call on anytime. My motto isn't "We have you covered!" for no reason!
Do you have any hidden fees or tax that isn't listed in your prices?
I do not charge any taxes on services. There are no additional fees to my packages and add-ons, except possibly for traveling long distances (see above). For more information specific to your event please reach out with questions.
Can we setup a meeting with you closer to the wedding to finalize details?
Absolutely. I actually require a final meeting ideally 3-4 weeks before your event. If you'd like to meet with me before booking, we can setup a free consultation. I do not charge for any extra time once you have me booked. I am available as often as possible for you if you ever need to meet with me or have a question answered.
Do you drink or smoke?
I have a zero tolerance policy on smoking and drinking before, during or after an event. My focus is 100% on you the day-of, and every second of that day is devoted to making your dreams come true!
